Colonial Book Stand

This book stand can display your family bible or keep your recipe book up off the counter. It is a simple project based on a Roy Underhill project, but he did it the hard way. He used six quarter stock the correct width, cut the hinges with a mallet and chisel, then re-sawed down to the hinges. We will cheat and use 3/4" stock an inch wider than the finished project, but the correct length of the finished project. This project will work if you want to use 6/4 stock and can re-saw it with a band saw or hand crosscut saw. That file is included.
