Hex Basket Box
This box is decorative, useful, and fun to build. A hexagonal box with a domed lid, it is 5” deep and 8” across the flats with has basket weave panels on each of the 6 sides and a key to keep the lid on the right way around. The placing of the table saw cuts is critical, so I have included a saw set-up guide, or if you are an old hand at this you can measure. All of these cuts are referenced from the top edge of the sides, so an unconventional move on the carving machine is called for.
